TelaCut Privacy Notice
Version 1.0 — September 29, 2026
1. Controller and contact
PRASITEC DESENVOLVIMENTO DE SOFTWARE NAO CUSTOMIZAVEL LTDA, Brazilian corporate taxpayer number (CNPJ) 68.791.018/0001-92, trading as PrasiTec, is responsible for the processing of data related to TelaCut described in this notice. Its business address is Rua Pais Leme, 215, conjunto 1713, Pinheiros, São Paulo/SP, CEP 05424-150.
For privacy matters and to exercise your rights, write to contato@prasi.tec.br. This notice covers the application, registration on the website and support. New services, such as automated purchases, will be accompanied by the corresponding information before they become available.
2. License, registration and updates
During activation, the application sends the license key, a computer identifier, the computer name, and the Windows and TelaCut versions. During validation and deactivation, it sends the key and identifier. These data allow license administration, verification of its validity and authorization of the computer in use.
The identifier is calculated on the computer from motherboard, BIOS and processor characteristics; if these are unavailable, it uses the computer name and Windows user. The source values are transformed into a hash code before transmission. This code can be associated with the license and is not anonymous information. The computer name is sent separately during activation.
The local license state includes the key, the name returned by the server, expiry, validation dates and the server's signed response. It allows the license and its offline-use allowance to be maintained. When checking for updates, the application sends its version and a timestamp. Servers receiving the connections also have access to the IP address and may produce technical access and security logs.
The installer locally records the version and cryptographic digest of the documents, the application version, and the time and method of acceptance. This record relates to the installation, does not identify who accepted and does not represent authorization on behalf of all users of the computer. It is not automatically sent to PrasiTec.
On the website registration form, name and email are required to identify the applicant, grant the license and send communications necessary for the service. Company, telephone and intended use are optional. Company and intended use help us understand our audience and are not used to target personalized offers. The telephone number may help with requested contact and identity verification, but does not by itself constitute proof of ownership.
Requesting a license, providing a telephone number or accepting the terms does not authorize advertising. Signing up for commercial communications by email and WhatsApp requires separate, optional choices for each channel. Refusing or leaving these channels does not cancel the license. These communications must not begin before the choice is recorded and an unsubscribe method is available.
3. Projects, local files and support
Projects are processed and saved on the computer. License and update communications do not send the complete project file. Users may send files to support on their own initiative and should limit what they send to what is necessary for assistance.
The program keeps local license, recovery and diagnostic files. Session recovery is removed after confirmed saving or normal shutdown; after an interruption, it may remain until the recovered project is discarded or saved. When replacing a saved project, a previous copy with the .tcut.bak extension may be kept alongside the original.
Calculation diagnostics may contain parts, dimensions, quantities and execution information. Detailed model capture depends on an enabled diagnostic option. Copies ending in .tcut.bak and local diagnostics have no automatic deletion deadline. They remain under the control of whoever administers the computer and are not automatically sent as error reports.
License and recovery files are in the Windows user's TelaCut data folder; diagnostics are in %LOCALAPPDATA%\PrasiTec\TelaCut\Diagnostics. Support can help locate and remove them when necessary.
4. Optional error reporting
When an error occurs, the program may display a report containing the error type and message, technical details, up to 20 context messages, system and application versions, license key and computer identifier. Messages and context may contain project names, file paths and other work information. The license key is confidential; do not publish the preview in public channels.
The contents are shown before sending. By choosing “Send report”, you request that support analyze this information. “Close without sending” does not transmit the report, and refusing does not affect the right to use the license. Acceptance of the program's terms does not trigger this transmission.
Received reports are recorded in the support service and may generate an administrative email with identification associated with the license, a summary of the failure, and the application and system versions. Retention rules also cover these email and working copies.
5. Purposes and legal grounds
Data necessary for granting, performing and supporting the license are processed to perform the contract or carry out procedures requested by the data subject. When assisting users who represent a company, maintaining the service and preventing abuse, necessary processing may rely on legitimate interest, taking into account the purpose, necessity and rights of the people involved.
Records necessary to comply with legal obligations or for the regular exercise of rights may be retained for those purposes. Optional uses that depend on consent require a specific choice; that consent may be withdrawn through the privacy contact. Contractual acceptance is not general authorization for any processing of data.
6. Providers, website and sharing
License and support communications use PrasiTec services. HostGator hosts the website and API; email uses Titan, contracted through HostGator. Update downloads use the address indicated in the official distribution. Providers needed for hosting and communication may process the data involved in delivering these services.
The contact page uses Google reCAPTCHA to protect against abuse and loads Google Ads resources, including conversion measurement. These resources may use cookies, IP addresses and information about the browser or interaction with the page. We therefore do not claim that the website is free of advertising tracking. You can consult Google's privacy information and manage cookies in your browser; restricting them may affect functions such as form verification. The presence of these resources does not mean you have subscribed to advertising by email or WhatsApp.
Providers may operate infrastructure and teams outside Brazil. A Brazilian domain does not guarantee storage exclusively in Brazil. Further information about providers and international processing may be requested through the privacy contact. It is not assumed that all services or copies are in the same country.
Data are not supplied to commercial partners for partnership or advertising activities. This does not prevent the use of providers necessary for the services described, or disclosure to authorities when there is an obligation or another applicable legal basis. Future billing services and commercial integrations will disclose their data, purposes and participants before they begin operating.
7. Retention and protection
We adopt the following retention periods for the ordinary purposes below. Deletions may be carried out administratively; these periods do not mean that automatic cleanup exists in every system:
• Registration and license history: throughout its validity and for one year after expiry, to facilitate possible renewal.
• Error reports: 90 days after receipt, including corresponding administrative copies.
• Support history: 12 months after the case is closed.
• Project files received by support: 30 days after support is concluded, separately from the ticket history.
• One-time free benefit control: only the minimum record necessary for eligibility, for as long as the offer exists, without authorizing retention of the full registration or its use for advertising.
When the purpose and applicable period end, data must be deleted or anonymized, except where retention is needed for legal obligations, proof of the agreement, exercise of rights or another license that is still active. Tax documents, access logs and other records subject to their own obligations do not indiscriminately receive the periods above. Any exceptional need for preservation must be documented and limited to the purpose that justifies it.
Retention periods for copies received by support do not delete files kept by users on their own computers. Deletion requests must also consider administrative copies and providers' technical conditions; data retained on an independent basis must not be reused for a purpose that has ended.
Communications between the application and the API use HTTPS, and administrative access to data is restricted. We do not promise a complete absence of risk or encryption of all stored data. Providers' measures do not replace the need for users to protect their projects and local copies.
8. Rights and identity verification
You may request confirmation and access, correction, information about sharing and, where applicable, portability, anonymization, blocking or deletion. You may also withdraw consent and obtain information about the possibility of refusing it and the consequences. Withdrawal does not automatically invalidate previous lawful processing.
Assistance is free of charge, subject to statutory deadlines. We may request proportionate proof of identity to prevent unauthorized access. When recovering access to a license, we use existing information and appropriate evidence, such as proof of the agreement where available or confirmation by an authorized company representative. A key or telephone number alone is not sufficient. If there is doubt about ownership, the requested change awaits clarification.
Retention obligations may limit deletion; in such cases, the reason must be stated. Preventing processing indispensable to the license may make activation or validation impossible, unlike refusing error reporting or advertising. You may also exercise your rights before Brazil's ANPD and other competent authorities.
9. Versions of this notice
This notice has an identified version and date. Significant changes will be communicated through a means accessible to users. The documents included with the application can be viewed offline through Help → Terms of use and privacy. New purposes that depend on consent will not be automatically authorized by an update to the program.
Website supplement — October 18, 2026
This supplement describes prasi.tec.br and telacut.com. The country or territory declared in the form is associated with license issuance. Public maps show only countries with a recorded issuance, without names, contact details, keys, computer identifiers or customer counts. A country is required for new requests. Brazil is included from the issuance history confirmed by the operator; we do not infer countries for older registrations. The map does not establish installation or active use. Country corrections may be requested from support.
To prevent abusive requests, we use temporary counters per network and email address, identified by cryptographic codes with a private key. These codes are not anonymous data. Counters expire within 24 hours after the verification window ends and are removed in batches during later requests. This does not change license-record retention or hosting technical logs.
You can separately allow visit analysis through Google Analytics 4 and ad measurement/personalization through Google Ads. The corresponding tags load only after permission. Refusing does not prevent license requests. You can review your choice in Privacy preferences in the footer. Permission for advertising does not automatically allow Analytics. Each domain stores its own choice in this browser for up to 180 days.
When analysis is allowed, we measure page views, visit sources, scrolling, license-request clicks and request completion. A download click does not establish installation or activation. Google may process cookie identifiers and technical information about the connection, browser and interaction. Names, emails, phone numbers, form messages and license keys are not sent by the implemented events. These events do not track projects in the application.
The analytics cookie is configured for up to 180 days without automatic renewal. Refusal or withdrawal clears measurement cookies accessible to the site. To avoid duplicate completion events, a session marker without form data is accepted for up to 30 minutes after permission. Withdrawal stops future collection; requests about prior data may be sent to contato@prasi.tec.br.
The form uses reCAPTCHA as a separate security feature. Measurement does not authorize advertising by email or WhatsApp. See also Google privacy information. This supplement does not change license terms.
